Charity to those at high risk and suffering from serious illnesses

It is now very important to focus our efforts on helping those at high risk, suffering from serious illnesses and having a very weak immune system. It is important to us that, in cooperation with the Rimantas Kaukėnas Charitable Foundation, we can once again make our contribution – families who are currently in hospital and at home will be provided with disposable masks and gloves and disposable tests to show the virus.

Rimantas Kaukėnas Charitable Foundation (KRCF) wrote in its message that the current situation of coronavirus in Lithuania and in the world is worrying everyone, especially those at high risk, suffering from serious illnesses and very weak immune systems. The parents of the children are worried about the high risk to their children and about not having the necessary means to protect themselves from the virus. KRCF sees the great need to help families who are currently in hospital and at home, and decided to provide these families with disposable masks and gloves and disposable tests for the virus. These items will be sent in partnership with the shipping and logistics company Omniva Lietuva, so we no direct contact with individuals will be made to protect the families.

For this support, RKCF allocates more than 20,000€:
– from the donations collected during Juozas Kavaliauskas Memorial Foundation charitable event thanks Vilius Kavaliauskas and Rita Kavaliauskienė;
– from donations collected during “FOR THE VICTORY OF LIVING 2019” concert.
